From that day, I started discovering what I was capable of — flipping furniture, designing walls, remodeling rooms. I didn’t hire help. I didn’t spend big. I learned. I watched YouTube videos, practiced immediately, and did everything with my own two hands. In just two years, I transformed my entire house — inside and out. I reupholstered every piece of furniture, installed fabric and webbing, painted, stenciled, waxed. My kitchen remodel? It cost less than $4,000 — and people think it looks like $50,000.
Every piece I create is unique. It carries a story — my story. A story of passion, determination, and the joy of bringing beauty to life with little money and a lot of love. The need for change, combined with limited resources, unlocked a creative part of me I never knew existed.
The most beautiful part? The people around me started looking at me differently. My husband now believes in me more than ever. My boys are proud. And I’ve learned that this journey is not just about transforming a house — it’s about transforming myself. And now I want to inspire other women to do the same.
